Performing partition resizing for Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 is always a headache for many IT administrators.

On some occasions, you may have the need to resize partitions on Windows Storage Servers. What will you do?

Partition Wizard Server Edition, as a Professional Partition Manager, enables users to resize server partition without having to reinstall systems and programs.

Here is an example of how to perform a repartition task:

1. Launch the software and you will see the current size of the partitions or disks on the disk map. The map also depicts the used and unused space within the partition and the free space surrounding the partition (if any exists). The minimum and maximum sizes that you can resize a Storage Server partition appear below the map.



Second, click D: drive, and position the mouse pointer on the right partition handle; when the mouse pointer changes to a double-headed arrow, drag the handle to the partition size you want. Then, move the D: drive to make the unallocated space next to the C: drive.



Third, click the C: drive. Position the mouse pointer on the right partition handle and resize it with the unallocated space. Click Apply. After reboot, you will have successfully resized your server partition on Windows Server without data loss. You can also use the Partition/Disk Copy Wizard to backup data.



It is easy to see that resizing storage server partitions with this server partition manager is much easier compared with the difficult configurations and command line of Windows Server 2008.
