Partition magic for server system

Server computer is high-performance computer which intercepts service requests submitted by its clients and offers corresponding service. At ordinary times, if we want to browse or download information or read news, we must make requests for server first, and then the server will deal with our requests. If there is no server on the internet or server stops running, all operations related to the network can not be performed. Therefore, server plays a very important role in the network.

As a server, it must have the competence of bearing service and ensuring service. To get these kinds of competences, good server management is necessary besides qualified hardware technology. The most important thing we should do is to manage server disk. To manage server disk better, we need the help of partition magic for server. Many users may raise a doubt that why they need partition magic for server while Server operating system has built-in disk management tool. Maybe, some people do not know Windows built-in disk management tool only can perform auxiliary disk management not all-sided management. However, partition magic for server is different from disk management tool. Partition magic server is specifically designed for disk management. It has professional disk management competence and all-sided disk management functions. This is the difference between "tool" and "software".

Considering data safety, many servers use dynamic disks. Indeed, dynamic disk can ensure server data safety effectively. However, it is troublesome and difficult to manage dynamic disks. To manage dynamic disk better, Partition Magic can not meet our demands any more. We need a dynamic disk manager. However, much shared partition magic does not have dynamic disk management functions, so it can not help us realize dynamic disk management. Luckily, MiniTool Partition Wizard 7.1 is added with dynamic disk management functions besides other powerful disk management functions. Users can visit its official website http://www.partitionwizard.com/ to know more information about this partition magic server which also can be called dynamic disk manager.

I believe every user has got a basic understanding to this partition magic server or dynamic disk manager after visiting its official website. When seeing so many management operations, many users may think it is troublesome to operate this partition magic server. However, the fact is not like this. Although MiniTool Partition Wizard offers many disk operations and partition operations, every function is separated clearly. Therefore, operations are very easy. Besides, this partition magic for server also offers clear prompts so as to ensure right operations.

Create volume with MiniTool Partition Wizard
I believe most server operating systems currently being used are Windows Server 2008. In order to let users know operations of this partition magic server intuitively, I will demonstrate how to manage dynamic disk. First, from the main interface of this partition magic server, we can see dynamic disk distribution and volume distribution. If we want to create volumes, we should click "Create" functional button on the tool bar or click "Create Volume" on the left action panel to enter the next interface.

After entering the above interface, we select the type of volume to be created. This partition magic for server offers 5 types of volumes, namely "Simple", "Spanned", "Striped", "Mirrored", and "RAID-5". After selecting the volume type, we click "Next" to perform the next operation.

In this interface, we need to select the destination disks to create volumes. Just now, I selected "RAID-5" to create RAID-5 volume whose creation needs 3 disks, so I click "Add" functional button. Next, I click "Next" to go on operating.

In the above interface, we can perform volume settings, such as set Label, set file system, set volume cluster size, and set volume letter. After finishing settings, click "Finish" to go back to the main interface:

After going back to the main interface, we cam see we have created a RAID-5 volume, but this is just a preview. We also need to click "Apply". At this time, this partition magic server will prompt us to reboot the computer. We just need to operate according to prompts. In the process of rebooting, the following interface will appear:

When this partition magic has finished all operations, it will reboot the computer automatically. After this partition magic server finishes reboot, we can see the very RAID-5 volume created just now.
